Daniel M (8 out of 10 ) Wow and wow. Great script with vivid three-dimensional characters. From the first couple pages I was drawn in and couldn't put it down. This is the type of story-telling that is lacking in most movies nowadays. I look forward to seeing this film.
Joel (7 out of 10 ) So sad, yet so courageous.
Chris L (10 out of 10 ) One of the most impressive scripts I've ever read. Cipriano is a talent that can not be overlooked. The final film is easily the best independent film to come out in years.
jimjones (2 out of 10 ) I'm afraid the dialogue and actions did not match up with the characters very well. IE no 12 year old kid is going to use words like "incarcerated."
Characters not developed very well.
Script Fan (8 out of 10 ) I'd say this screenplay was a masterpiece. Excellent use of foreshadowing mostly through dialogue, interesting twists and easily understood. Not to mention it was a good idea for a story. In this case there may only be one main character (Jacob) who vows revenge for his brothers death. But the story was actually about Jacob and his friends experiences after Rudy dies. I think the sub-plot with Leonard was kind of loosely connected considering the only foreshadowing from the scene he fell out of the tree house was that his disability saved him from being fat. I also think the one with Malee was loosely connected. He pretty much just needed her so the construction worker she had a crush on could throw dirt on top of Kennys dead body but anyway I loved the story.
